PROFILE
Atty. Pearl Vicencio holds an undergraduate degree in A.B. English – Literature from the Ateneo de Davao University. She pursued law at the Ateneo de Davao University – College of Law, graduating in 1998. During her law studies, Atty. Vicencio volunteered as a legal intern with the Clinical Legal Education Program at Ateneo de Davao University. She took the Philippine Bar exams that same year and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1999.
Since 1999, Atty. Vicencio has also been a faculty member at the College of Law, Ateneo de Davao University, teaching subjects related to legal ethics, the legal profession, and legal research. She is currently on leave from her teaching duties.
In July 2001, the Firm assigned Atty. Vicencio to the Congressional Office of then-Representative Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza (First District Cotabato) as her Chief Political Affairs Officer. This role was a natural progression for Atty. Vicencio, who had previously served as a consultant to Councilor Emmanuel P. Galicia, the Majority Floor Leader of the 12th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Davao City.
In 2004, Atty. Vicencio became a full partner of the Firm. Beyond her legal career, she is also engaged in various entrepreneurial ventures and offers consultancy services in business development and management.
Atty. Vicencio is a member of the Davao Lady Lawyers Association (DALLAS) and Lakas Atenista, a legal fraternity from Ateneo de Davao University. With her extensive experience and commitment to both law and business, Atty. Vicencio brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Firm.
